Board Meetings
Anshei’s Board meetings are usually held on the third Monday of every month, except when holidays intervene. The meetings are generally in the Beit Knesset from 7 - 9 PM and are open to anyone who wishes to attend. Because our agendas are always full, it’s a challenge to finish by 9 PM. Thus, each agenda item is timed out to ensure we keep on schedule. While Anshei members are always welcome to attend, their participation will, out of necessity, be held to a minimum so we can cover all items on the agenda. If there is time at the end of the meeting, we can then address new business. If a guest has comments or concerns, we’ll do everything in our ability to make time for their item(s) to be aired; however, if time does not permit, please feel free to submit a detailed email to us at

Community Announcements
Anshei has been inundated with requests to promote programs and events for other groups both inside and outside the Temple. While this is a byproduct of our success, and certainly flattering, it has put us in a difficult spot. It’s a challenge for us to promote our own events, let alone those of other groups. We’re limited in resources, time, and manpower. But we didn’t want to turn a blind eye, so we’ve initiated the practice of beginning our Temple-based programs 15 minutes early. The extra time will allow other Temple Isaiah groups to share information about their events, activities, etc. that may be interesting to our members. Any Temple groups interested in making announcements at Anshei events should send an e-mail to . Please note that the 15 minute “pre-program announcement time” will not apply to offsite programs (off Temple grounds) due to logistics, show times, venue limitations, etc.
