B’nai Mitzvah Projects

Temple Isaiah requires each of our Bar/Bat Mitzvah students to complete a Mitzvah Project of their choosing.

What is a Mitzvah Project and why do we do them?

The Mitzvah Project is designed to help our students engage in tikkun olam. We believe that all Jews are responsible for making our world a better place and we want our B’nai Mitzvah students to take part in this work.

How do I choose a Mitzvah Project?

Here are a few websites to visit to gather ideas for your B’nai Mitzvah Project:

Click here to visit Areyvut’s B’nai Mitzvah Project Bank.
Click here to visit MyJewishLearning.com’s page on Mitzvah Projects.
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to email Ira Rosenberg, our Youth Director and 7th Grade Coordinator, for more ideas or to ask questions.

Talk to your parents, teachers, friends, and family, as well. Ask about organizations that might need assistance or projects they might know about.
