Yachad (Singles 45+)
Yachad, our group of singles over 45, enables this demographic to connect and enjoy activities with one another. Through informal potluck dinners or lunches, hikes, theater outings and other activities, singles have a chance to meet one another. Volunteers to lead special interest sessions are always welcome. Summer Theater Party at CAL SHAKES: Mrs. Warren’s Profession
Join Anshei Isaiah and Temple Isaiah’s Adult Programs for a special afternoon at CalShakes. The program begins at 3:15 p.m. with a speakers providing invaluable insight into the show. The performance of George Bernard Shaw’s Mrs. Warren’s Profession begins at 4:00 p.m. There is also a post-show opportunity to meet the cast members. Yachad friends are gathering to commemorate Yom Hashoah/Yom Gevurah together at our community commemoration here at on Sunday, April 11 at 4:00 PM and then stay on for dinner together. Dinner will be in the Adult Lounge starting at 5:30 PM. Please bring a dairy or vegetarian dish to share.

January 10 - From Bimah to Broadway: Cantorial Concert Fundraiser
Yachad will join Temple Isaiah members for a stellar musical event, From Bimah to Broadway, here in the Temple Isaiah social hall at 7:30 p.m. Our Cantor, Leigh Korn has assembled a talented group of cantors from around the country, including our former Cantor, Chanin Becker, to entertain us with songs from our liturgy and the Broadway stage. November 1 - Brunch and a Tour of USS Potomac
New Orleans Jazz Brunch at Scott’s, beginning at 11:00 AM. The prices range from $15.50 on up. Afterwards, a tour of the USS Potomac - FDR’s “floating White House” at approximately 2 PM, which lasts one hour. The admission to this yacht is $8.00. Wear comfortable walking shoes. There will be some ship ladders to scale, so skirts are discouraged. Reservations are requested for both activities. We hope you can join us for both activities. December 13 - Chanukah Celebration & Candle Lighting at Broadway Plaza
Meet at the Chanukah menorah in Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek just across from Nordstroms at 5:30 PM for candlelighting and songs. The program there starts at 4 PM on Sunday, but our group will gather at 5:30 PM. Look for the Yachad sign. The evening continues at 6:45 PM at Caffe delle Stelle Restaurant, 1532 Main Street, a short walk from the Menorah lighting, for a casual no-host dinner in a warm friendly Italian café atmosphere.
