LAFTY (Lafayette Area Federation of Temple Youth): 9th-12th Grade

Led by teens, for teens, LAFTY is Temple Isaiah’s high school youth group. With guidance from Ira Rosneberg, our Youth Director, each event is planned and led from start to finish by an elected board comprised of LAFTY members. LAFTY events are devoted to creating a Jewish community amongst our teens. We strive to provide positive Jewish experiences to propel our teens into a Jewish future that they’re excited to be a part of. LAFTY events range from beachside camping trips to social action events and everything in between. Highlights of the year include our annual Winter Vacation trip, Spring Adventure trip and the Purim Carnival, LAFTY’s biggest fundraiser.
