Torah Study
We want Torah study to guide our way as individuals and as a community. It is from Torah and all of Jewish sacred literature that we derive the values that shape our lives.
Board and Committee meetings begin with a moment of study and reflection on sacred text and opportunities abound to join study groups and on line learning.
Shabbat Morning Torah Study
On Shabbat morning at 8:45 or 9:15 (check the calendar) led by a member of our clergy team we study the weekly Torah portion. Newcomers are always welcome.
Women’s Torah Study
Women of Isaiah invites all Temple sisters and their friends to join us as we study Torah portions enhanced by interpretations, poetry, and commentaries by women. We’ll read and reflect on ancient texts that will enhance our understanding of the roles, rituals, and laws of Judaism. We will explore and discuss how they connect to the needs and concerns of our busy lives today.
